The human body

As you can see, the human body is the first theme we are going to start with.
First of all, put the names you already know on the picture, and then try to find the others through the short definitions.

Here is the list to complete the picture: Human body – forehead – ankle – cheek – arm – foot – navel – ear – ring finger – hair – teeth – wrist – little finger – heel – eyebrow – tongue – index finger – back – buttock – head  – leg – lips – thumb – eyelash – face – mouth – nail – toe – chin – hand – neck – knee – finger – throat – elbow – shoulders – nose – middle finger – stomach – chest – eye. 



FACE
- This is the lower part of the face, under your mouth: CHIN
- At the top of your head, you can brush them or even change their color: HAIR
- It grows just along the eyelid and protects the eye: EYELASH
- The ridge (or line) over the eye: EYEBROW
- This is the part of your face above your eyes and below your hair: FOREHEAD
- A round part of the face: CHEEK
- Part of your mouth which is allows you to produce different sounds moving them and where the skin is darker: LIPS

MOUTH
- White objects especially used for eating: TEETH (the singular is a TOOTH)
- Inside your mouth, you can move it in order to talk and eat: TONGUE

HAND
- Articulation between the hand and the arm that you can move to give a specific direction to your hand: WRIST
- The first finger of your hand is also used on a famous social network: THUMB
- Also called ‘’forefinger’’, sometimes people show you something or a direction with it: INDEX FINGER
- As the name suggests, the longest finger is in the middle of your hand: MIDDLE FINGER
- People traditionally wear their wedding ring on this finger, especially on the left hand: RING FINGER
- The smallest finger is often used in childhood to promise something: LITTLE FINGER

FOOT
- One of the five parts of your foot that you can move: TOE
- Located at the end of each toe (or finger from the hand), girls often lack it: NAIL
- The curved part at the back of your foot, just below the ankle and behind the arch: HEEL

HUMAN BODY
- This is the part of the body between your head and the rest of your body: NECK
- Part of the alimentary and respiratory system which is also the front of your neck: THROAT
- At the top of the arm, when you don’t really know what to answer to somebody or you are not taking something/someone seriously, you probably shrug them: SHOULDERS
- Articulation in the middle of your arm: ELBOW
- Part of the breathing system, it allows you to smell: NOSE
- It’s located on each side of your head and you can hear the sounds with:  EAR
- Joint between the leg and the foot, you may break/twist it if you fall down: ANKLE
- In the middle of the leg, boys can get down on one and proposed to their girlfriend: KNEE
- One of the two long parts that support your body and let you walking and running: LEG
- Part of the alimentary canal, this is the organ where the food goes (first) in order to be digested: STOMACH (general)
- In front of your body, the small scar in the center of your abdomen: NAVEL
- The top part of the front of your body, between the neck and the stomach: CHEST
- Brown, green, blue… this is one of the two parts of your face you use to see with: EYE
- One of the two parts of your body that you actually sit on: BUTTOCK
- That’s the opposite of the front of your body, extending from the neck to the stomach: BACK
- Upper limb between the shoulder and the hand, it allows you to do almost everything: ARM
- Top part of the entire body which contains the brain and supported by your neck: HEAD
- One of the five long parts of your hand that are used to touch or hold things: FINGER
